IKEDO’s history

IKEDO got its start in Inazawa, Aichi Prefecture in 1969 as a plant dedicated to machining electrical components. The year 1977 was a turning point for us as we shifted to the field of manufacturing and machining of automotive parts. Since then, we have acted as a partner of Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd., part of the Toyota group of companies, producing a variety of automotive components.

October, 1972

Established Ikedo Seisakusho Co., Ltd.
(5M JPY capital)

October, 1977

Entered the automotive parts manufacture
and machining market
(major client: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.)

December, 1986

Constructed and launched Jimokuji plant

June, 1990

Rebuilt head office and Kitajima plant

May, 1995

Increased capital to 10M JPY

Augast, 1999

Launched operations at Hirano plant

Became a licensed parts supplier for Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.
